Live Online Learning: how does it work in practice?

Perhaps you have already read some of our earlier blogs on Live Online Learning. If not, here is a brief explanation of what it is. Actually the name says it all: Live Online Learning. Online learning, but with live interaction between fellow students and an expert. No travel time, but the necessary and desired interaction to learn as effectively as possible! How does Live Online Learning work? A Live Online Learning course, or a LOL course, you take online via a computer/laptop, tablet or smartphone. So you can participate from the location you want. At home, at work, on the road or even from your vacation address. So you save a lot of travel time and you don't have to arrange a babysitter or ask for time off from work. In the LOL session you have direct interaction with an expert and/or fellow students, because you learn from and with each other. On the basis of activating assignments you follow the Live Online sessions in a fun and above all educational way! Case studies of Live Online Learning But who exactly is this Live Online Learning for? Well, actually for anyone who wants to learn something or wants to transfer his / her knowledge! LOL can be used in many different ways for different audiences. Currently, LOL is already used for parents of children with mental health problems, healthcare professionals, meeting facilities and many other audiences. StandUp One of the projects being done through the LOL methodology is StandUp. This project consists of several LOL courses on of culture-sensitive working and confused persons. These LOL courses are intended for healthcare professionals who deal with clients from different cultural backgrounds. Think for example of "Dealing with multi-problem families", "Alternative medicine for migrant youth" and "Refugee children". Digi Poli Youth Within the Live Online Learning Platform, a unique treatment platform has been developed, the Digi Poli Jeugd. At the Digi Poli Jeugd of De Jutters Lucertis, treatment is given entirely live online to children and adolescents with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their parents/caregivers. There are online psycho-educational group courses and also individual treatment programs for children, adolescents and parents/caregivers.
