Live online treatment as a Certified Live Online (LOL) Clinician

Would you also like to live online group treatments or online psychoeducation Want to start up? But do you need help translating your offline into effective online interventions? Then follow this training. In this live online training, you will learn to prepare and implement interactive and truly effective online group treatments and online psychoeducation, according to the LOL methodology. During the training, safety, interaction and group dynamics in online treatment are central. You will learn how to use tools in the right way within an online group and how to actively involve and reach your clients and patients.

Get to know all aspects of live online treatment

In this hands-on training, you will be introduced - under the guidance of an experienced LOL trainer - to all aspects of live online treatment. The training starts with exploring all the online possibilities you can use as a practitioner to achieve the desired therapy goals. Then you will be challenged to step-by-step set up an online treatment program or psycho-education with the various tools at your disposal. Not only live online counseling will be covered. You will start with the design of a learning trajectory in which you will also consider how you can optimally use other available online tools in order to also put your clients to work mentally outside of the classroom.

After setting up your design, you will concretely set up 1 session and develop the corresponding teaching materials. During the training you will get a lot of space to practice and experiment with the interventions you have designed. The training concludes with a theory and a practice test.

Learning Objectives

As a certified LOL practitioner, you are able to:

• Describe in their own words what the LOL methodology entails
• Apply the LOL didactic model to the design and implementation of a live online treatment program
• Design a live online effective treatment program or psychoeducation program
• Prepare and execute an interactive and varied live online treatment session
• Recognize and apply the buttons and functionalities in the online session room and self-study environment
• Create a safe live online treatment environment

This training consists of 8 live online sessions of 1.5 hours.

Certification

This training course to become a Live Online Clinician is certified according to the NEN-EN ISO 17024:2012 standard for Person Certification. The certificate is valid for 3 years. The cost of a possible retake of the theoretical exam is €95,- excl.
